Food
To Chew On:
A
Multiplied Lunch
John
6:11
Jesus
therefore took the loaves; and having given thanks, He distributed to those who
were seated; likewise also of the fish as much as they wanted.
Thought
For The Day:
If
you had been there on that day with a lunch under your cloak, would you have
offered it to Jesus?
Do not rush the process. Take small steps. If you are
going to go back to work then start with half days if you can. If you have the
option of working from home, try that for a few days before heading back to the
office for full days. If you are talking about exercise, it is especially
important that you not overdo it. Start with small increments for both strength
training, cardiovascular, and flexibility training. The most important thing to
remember is to take the time to make it work. Do not rush it. If you push too
hard too soon, you will get frustrated and feel exhausted.
Maintain a healthy weight.
The weight that's right for you depends on many factors including your sex,
height, age and heredity. Excess body fat increases your chances for high blood
pressure, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, some types of cancer and other
illnesses. But being too thin can increase your risk for osteoporosis,
menstrual irregularities and other health problems. If you're constantly losing
and regaining weight, a registered dietitian can help you develop sensible
eating habits for successful weight management. Regular exercise is also
important to maintaining a healthy weight.
Healthy
Meal For The Day
Tuesday
Make a morning breakfast
smoothie on Tuesday morning with your favorite frozen fruits, yogurt, ground
flaxseeds, peanut butter, avocado and a banana. For lunch, use leftover chicken
breast to top a garden salad with sliced cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, olives,
walnuts and olive oil balsamic vinegar dressing. For
dinner, try broiled beef tenderloin with steamed red potatoes, steamed green
beans and a side salad.
