Food To Chew On:
Thursday – Have You Done Good?
Titus 3:8
This is a trustworthy statement; and concerning these things I want you to speak confidently, so that those who have believed God may be careful to engage in good deeds. These things are good and profitable for men.
The Thought For The Day:
Any Christian who is not involved in some ministry to people’s needs has missed his or her calling. Have you done good?
Good morning it is Thursday a good day to do some sit ups and jumping jacks to start off your morning. Have you planed your meals for the day? Remember to think healthyJ. The choices we make will determent how healthy we are and the quality of life we have…Please keep this in mind eat less and move more.
The term "health and wellness" has become a powerful tool for marketers in various industries. As people decide to change their habits and pursue healthier lifestyles, many different companies stand to benefit. Health food retailers, manufacturers of exercise equipment, and companies that produce vitamins or nutritional supplements could all see increased demand for their products as a result of the health and wellness trend. On the other hand, companies whose products or services are generally associated with poor health would be negatively impacted by an increased public concern about health and wellness. Examples include tobacco companies and fast food restaurants.

A Health Meal For
Thursday

Make a yogurt parfait with plain, nonfat Greek yogurt, 1/4 cup of low-sugar granola and 1 cup of fresh fruit for breakfast. Enjoy a homemade turkey burger on a whole-wheat bun for lunch and have a baked sweet potato on the side with low-fat pudding for dessert. Broil 3 1/2 oz. of tilapia seasoned with lemon pepper and have with 1 cup of quinoa cooked with 1/2 cup of mushrooms and 1/2 cup frozen peas. For snacks, cut up a red bell pepper and eat with 2 tbsp. of hummus -- check the sodium content -- and a banana with 1 tbsp. of natural, no-salt-added peanut butter.
