Food To Chew On:
Saturday – Loving You With All My Heart, Soul and Mind
Matthew 22:36-38 (KJV)
Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy
heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment.
Though
For The Day:
Today I will fall deeper in Love with You Lord…
All my Heart, Soul and Mind. Please teach me how to Love others as You love me…
As you start your weekend, be good to yourself and take time to relax with a
good massage, quite time in a bubble bath with candles and soft music playing
in the background or just a nice walk at the park .
We are focusing on the Whole Man.. Mind, Body and Soul. On
This “Soulful Saturday.” Here are Some tips to Wellness.
Mental Health And Wellness
1. Avoid the ‘Sins’
Drugs and alcohol offer the easy solution out, but they come with
a price: dependence. This should be a tax too burdensome on any, as you should
always know you can work through life with your own character and spirit if it
ever required it. Instead of these, find the beautiful, happy things in life
and cherish them.
2. Accept the past, but
don’t forget it
Some people suggest forgetting the past – don’t do it! The past is
what we learn from; it is life’s great teacher. Unfortunately, the minute we
forget the past is the minute we repeat it. That doesn’t mean we can’t accept
it though. Know your past and its dilemmas, accept it, and move on.
3. Know who you want to be
and what you want to do
Have goals as a person, both for your own character and for your
life’s pathway. A wise man once said the focus of our attention determines our
reality. That said, focus hard on your goals. You’d be surprised of how
attainable they are!
4. Remember Why You’re
Doing it
Always remember your loved ones and your reason for working so
hard. Self-sacrifice is just that – sacrifice – but you can find solace in that
when you need to. If you follow the tips above, and remember why it’s so
important.
A Healthy Menu For
Saturday
The leanest cuts of beef are top loin, top
sirloin, round steaks and roasts and chuck shoulder. For breakfast, whole-wheat
pancakes with real maple syrup, sliced bananas and low-fat milk is tasty treat.
For lunch, grilled chicken salad with dried cranberries, walnuts and low-fat
salad dressing, whole-wheat pita bread and low-fat yogurt is protein- and
antioxidant-packed. For dinner, grilled top sirloin, corn on the cob, roasted
bell peppers and baked french-fries is a satisfying meal.
