Food To Chew On:
Love Yourself Enough To Forgive
Matthew 5:23-24 (NKJV)
Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar,
and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift
there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother,
and then come and offer your gift.
Thought For The Day:
Our calling
is to be people who set others free. This means forgiving, asking to be
forgiven, and working tirelessly to establish reconciliation But we are not
alone in the challenge. The Lord is with us.
Happy Wacky
Wednesday Tips, we have more tips on keep you on track…
(70-75)
70. Make
your wardrobe match your goals. As you lose weight donate the clothes that no
longer fit you as an incentive to stay on track.
71. Pick up
a 5- or 10-pound weight at the gym and visualize that weight coming off.
Holding the weight in your hands helps bring home just how heavy even 5 pounds
of extra fat can be.
72. If you
find yourself at a weight loss plateau, up the duration of your exercise
routine by five minutes.
73. Pounding
out your meat will help healthier portions go a longer way visually, and it's
good stress relief.
74. Silken
tofu makes a wonderful replacement for cream in some recipes.
75. Save 85
calories just by swapping mustard for mayonnaise in a sandwich.
If So Many Basic Grooming Products Are Filled
With Toxins, What *Can* We Use?
Shop at
your local health food store to start if you don’t have time to do a lot of
research.
They have
great alternative options for the whole family. Once you’ve bought your
healthier alternatives, it’s time to throw away your old chemical-filled
cosmetics and recycle any packaging you can.
My Basic
Grooming Routine
1. For
shampoo, I use Every Day Coconut fairtrade, and my conditioner is Desert
Essence.
2. My
favorite body washes and lotions are from 100% Pure.
3. My
favorite deodorant is from Real Purity. It’s the only real natural deodorant
out there that works for me and my husband. (And we’ve tried several.)
4. I wash
my face in the morning with an all-natural oatmeal bar soap. My mom hand makes
them for me.
5. I tone
with organic rose water I buy at Whole Foods Market.
A Healthy Menu For
WEDNESDAY
For
breakfast select one low-fat blueberry waffle, 2 tbsp. sugar-free syrup, ½ cup
fresh raspberries and 1 cup nonfat milk. Enjoy coffee or tea sweetened with a
sugar substitute, too. Your lunch meal includes 2 scrambled eggs, 1 oz. low fat
cheese, 1 slice of toasted whole grain bread and 1 tsp. soft margarine and ½ cup
fresh pineapple. For dinner, choose 3 oz. broiled salmon, ½ quinoa, ½ cup
broccoli and cauliflower mix. Have 4 oz. low fat yogurt with ½ cup sliced
strawberries for dessert.
